What we collect
- The corridor and amount you compare — used to recompute rates and to share your quote via the WhatsApp button. This is held in URL parameters, not in any account.
- Anonymous device type — we look at the User-Agent header on affiliate clicks to send iPhone visitors to the App Store and Android visitors to the Play Store. We do not store the User-Agent.
- Aggregate analytics — page views, clicks on provider buttons, share button taps. We use this to understand which corridors and providers are popular, not to identify individuals.
What we do not collect
- Your name, address, phone number, or email — we do not have user accounts.
- Your bank account, debit card, or any payment instrument detail.
- Your identity documents (KYC) — these go directly to the provider you choose.
- Your transfer history. We don't see whether you complete a transfer or not.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of strictly necessary cookies for site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. If we add an analytics provider in the future (Plausible or PostHog are the candidates we're evaluating), we will choose tools that respect Do Not Track and operate within a GDPR-aligned posture.
Security
All connections to VoliqPay are encrypted with TLS 1.3. We do not handle any payment data, so the security burden on us is much lower than on a money transmitter. The provider you choose to send with is responsible for the security of your transfer — they are licensed money services businesses with regulatory safeguarding requirements.
Your rights
We do not hold personal data on you, so the GDPR rights of access, rectification, and erasure are largely inapplicable. If you have any concerns about how data is handled in connection with VoliqPay, please get in touch via the contact route in our methodology page.
