How VoliqPay makes money
When you click through to a provider from VoliqPay and complete a money transfer, that provider may pay us a small referral fee. This is the standard affiliate model used by virtually every consumer comparison site in financial services — including most of the publications you've read articles on this subject in.
The referral fee is paid by the provider, not by you. Your transfer cost is exactly the same whether you arrive at the provider via VoliqPay or by typing their URL directly. This is because the fee comes out of the provider's own customer-acquisition budget — money they would otherwise spend on Google ads, influencer sponsorships, or TV.
The rule that matters
Affiliate relationships do not affect rankings on VoliqPay.Providers are ranked strictly by what arrives in your recipient's account — the higher the local-currency amount, the higher the ranking. If the most expensive provider on a corridor were to offer us the highest referral fee, they would still appear last.
You can verify this for yourself: pick any corridor and check that the provider with the highest recipient amount is on top, regardless of which logo appears most prominently elsewhere on the page.
Which providers have affiliate relationships with us
All six providers we currently feature — Wise, Remitly, XE Money, WorldRemit, Western Union and Revolut — either have an active affiliate relationship with VoliqPay, or could in principle establish one through a standard partner program. We treat all six identically in our rankings regardless of the commercial relationship status.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment for higher placement. Provider order is determined by recipient amount, full stop.
- We do not hide which providers we earn from.Every “Send via …” link on the site is a tracked affiliate link and is marked with
rel="sponsored"for transparency with search engines. - We do not write “reviews” that are paid placements. Editorial provider reviews are written based on the same public data that drives our rankings.
Questions?
We try to make all of this as visible as possible — in the footer, on every comparison page, and below every provider table. If something on the site looks like it might be biased by an affiliate relationship, please tell us. We take that feedback seriously.
